Savoring life one bite at a time
I love chocolate but I’m picky about desserts. If on a deserted island, when asked to pick one food group that I would never give up, I’d much rather have fruit than a chocolate cake! But every so often, I want something decadent…so why not make it for breakfast?
And that’s where the idea of the "Lazy Cacao Otmeal" bowl was born!
Lazy Cacao Oatmeal
I tend to only eat two meals a day, so my breakfast has to last me a long time! Hence the variations on amounts. Also oats are gluten free. However if you have a true allergy, make sure that you get the ones labeled as such. This labeling will certify that there is no cross contamination in the factory.
Mix in your nondairy milk, let it sit for five minutes, then add a bit more to make sure it is fully coated. This way you get a truly creamy decadent treat!
Eliminate the agave altogether and mix half nondairy milk and half coconut water for sweetness without adding refined sugars!
